University of Florida Selects Corbis AI to Transform Finance and Real Estate Research
Faculty and students at the Kelley A. Bergstrom Real Estate Center gain access to Corbis, a research desk powered by nearly half a million peer-reviewed studies, current economic and market data, and proprietary commercial real estate intelligence, trusted by users at top institutions and universities.
Gainesville, Fla., August 13, 2026 — Agentic Assets, an AI technology company founded by two finance professors, today announced that the University of Florida has selected Corbis™, its source-grounded AI research platform, for the Kelley A. Bergstrom Real Estate Center at the Warrington College of Business. Corbis passed the university's rigorous vendor security and risk review to earn the agreement.
The University of Florida ranks first in AI readiness among the largest-enrollment public universities in the country, scoring 9.7 out of 10 on the independent AIREDEX assessment reported by UF News on July 29, 2026. For the Bergstrom Real Estate Center, it chose Corbis.
Corbis is built for the part of research that does not scale: working through everything relevant before forming a view. It draws on a continuously updated corpus of nearly half a million peer-reviewed papers across finance, real estate, and economics, together with national economic series and proprietary commercial real estate market data, and synthesizes across that base to answer a question directly. What comes back is not a list of links to sort through. It is an argument built from the evidence, with the studies it rests on attached.
Most of that literature has never been easy to reach. A paper is published as a PDF behind a subscription, written for other specialists, and the finding inside it stays there. Corbis puts academic research to work and makes it usable without a specialist's training. It applies what the literature already establishes to the question actually in front of someone, whether that is one market, one company, or a single investment decision, so a result that would otherwise sit in an archive reaches the person who needs it.
Because every claim carries its source, a reader can check the argument instead of taking it on faith, which is what separates a research platform from a general-purpose one. Guided workflows extend the same discipline to finished work, producing literature reviews, market analyses, and investment committee memos that export to PDF, Word, or LaTeX with a complete source appendix. Access at the university will be delivered through single sign-on, so faculty, researchers, and students at the Bergstrom Real Estate Center can reach the platform with their existing credentials.
“I'm impressed with the work [they] are doing in AI and particularly Corbis.”
“Researchers are held to a high bar of evidence, and Corbis was built to clear it. Faculty and students at the Bergstrom Real Estate Center now have the published literature working on every question they bring, and they can follow any answer back to the studies behind it. That is how we work in our own research, and it is how the platform works.”
The Warrington College of Business is also familiar ground for the company. Dr. Stace Sirmans, who co-founded Agentic Assets and leads its core product development, earned his Ph.D. at the University of Florida.
Corbis is available now at corbis.ai.
